Saints God Home: Today is 7th April 2026, 14th Remembrance Anniversary of the passing on to Glory, of my dear Dad, Mr Herbert Obiajuruire Oluedo on 7th April 2012 which was the HOLY SATURDAY of 2012,
Recall also that my dear Mum, Mrs Jessie Chilakpunnwa Oluedo passed on to the Glory, on the 30th March, 2018, which is also the HOLY FRIDAY of 2018, at the age of 93.
7th April 2012, my lovely Dad, Mr Herbert Obiajuruire Oluedo passed on to the Glory of God Almighty, at the age of 90. May I humbly, on behalf of his Children, Grand children, Great Grand children, Relations, Inlaws, Friends etc, thank the Almighty God for the beautiful and examplary life he lived. He will forever be in our minds.
Today, we celebrate the life of Herbert Obiajuruire Oluedo and the love he shared. His memory will forever be cherished. We always remember his favourite jokes, infectious laughs, kind hearts, wisdom and extra generosity. We thank him for being Supportive, Encouraging, Loving, Caring and a Great Mentor. He taught us so much about expressing love and forgiveness. He was an Inspiration, Role Model and Friend. He will always call me to re emphasize his philosophy: “Maduabuchi please if someone does 99 bad things against you, but does 1 good thing for you, kindly use the 1 good thing to forgive the 99 bad things, Not the Reverse that is common today”.
May the soul of this Saint, and that of his lovely wife, another Saint, continue to rest in peace in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
