2024 PDP WARD & OTHER CONGRESSES:
CONGRATULATIONS TO ENUGU STATE GOVERNOR. The Oldest Founding Member of PDP Oji-River LGA, Dr Eric Oluedo, congratulates the Governor of Enugu state, Dr Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah,
for a peaceful transparent and credible INEC monitored Ward Congresses in the 260 Wards of Enugu state on 27/7/2024. This was confirmed by Toni Iyoha, the Chairman of the 5-Man Enugu State Ward Congresses National Electoral Committee.
Also speaking on the remaining Congresses and Convention, Dr Oluedo requests the current leaders of PDP in Oji-River LGA to strictly abide by the 2024 MOU on sharing formula. PDP is reminded that in 2007, Oji-River LGA was divided into 3 Development Areas (Centres), with MOU on sharing formula based on the 3 Development Areas (zones). In 2017, Oji-River LGA was further divided into 4 Development Areas (Centres), with MOU on sharing formula, now based on 4 Development Areas (zones).
May I thank Oji-River Traditional Rulers Council, Oji-River Forum for Presidents General and Leadershiip of other Political Parties who drove the processes of producing the 2024 MOU.
Finally, may I urge our members that left the Party for one reason or the other to come back and participate actively in the current Peter Mbah’s Infrastructural Revolution in Enugu State that will soon lead us to the inevitable Industrial Revolution. The Umbrella is very large to accommodate us all.
