Hallelujah! Enuguagu Achi Missionary Archdeaconry Now Full Fledged Archdeaconry To the Glory of God

At an impressive and colourful ceremony, Friday, 1st September, 2023, Enuguagu Achi assumed the enviable status of an Archdeaconry in the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion.
The Inauguration Ceremony was performed at the Emmanuel Anglican Church, Enuguagu Achi by His Grace, Most Rev’d Amos Amankechinelo Madu, Bishop of the Diocese of Oji-River and Pioneer Archbishop of the Enugu Ecclesiastical Province of the Anglican Church.
Bishop Madu had 14 years ago in 2009, precisely 7th August, pronounced Enuguagu as a Missionary Archdeaconry.
Preaching the sermon to commemorate the event, Bishop Madu urged Christians to open their hearts for Christ.
According to the Bishop, “with Christ in the lives of worshippers, positive changes will manifest and endure.”
The Anglican Bishop used the occasion to send warning signals across to the youths who are resorting on fetishistic activities as the way of life.
For him, “doomsday is just by the corner for such people.”
Major Highlights of the service were Confirmation of young Anglicans as soldiers of Christ, admission into the Women Guild and Mothers Union by Bishop Amos Madu.
The Bishop also Commissioned the Water Project sponsored by an Abuja based Enuguagu Achi Philanthropist, Engr. Osita Ezedozie.
Commissioning the Project, Bishop Madu prayed God to shower His blessings on Engr. Ezedozie for his kind dispositions and benevolence.
