A Saint Goes Home: Holy Friday of 2018, 30th March 2018, Mrs Jessie Chilakpunnwa Oluedo passed on to the Glory. Holy Friday, also known as Good Friday, Great Friday or Friday of the Passion of the Lord, is a solemn Christian holy day commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary.
On the Holy Friday of 2018, 30th March 2018, my great Mum, Mrs Jessie Chilakpunnwa Oluedo, passed on to the Glory at the age of 93. May I humbly, on behalf of her Children, Grand children, Great Grand children, Relations, Inlaws, Friends etc, thank the Almighty God for the beautiful and examplary life she lived. She will forever be in our minds and may we all remain mightily blessed.
Today, being Mothering Sunday, we celebrate her life and the love she shared. Her memory will forever be cherished.We always remember her favourite infectious laugh, kind heart, wisdom and extra generosity. We thank her for being supportive, encouraging, loving and caring. She taught us so much about expressing love and forgiveness. She was an inspiration, role model, mentor and friend. May her soul continue to rest in peace in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
