•In a communiqué on December 1, 2016, at the end of a two-day training for government MDAs on RESOURCE MOBILISATION, RESPONSIVE FISCAL GOVERNANCE AND PARTICIPATORY BUDGET PROCESS FOR EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY AT THE SUB NATIONAL LEVEL, organised by Niger Delta Budget  Monitoring Group, and Oxfam Financing for Development (F4D), VEC was accepted as the best tool by any sub-national government for giving voice to citizens to participate in governance. They equally called for its legal backing.

•The British Department For International Development (DFID) and UKaid on 8th March 2016, organized a stakeholders conference on the review of the visit every community (VEC) approach to policy development and planning in Enugu State. The participants (Igwes, Presidents General, State and LG officials, Faith and Community Based Organisations, International Funders etc) agreed that VEC is a veritable tool for sustainable policy development and planning.

•At PERL UKaid organized South East Zone stakeholders on 1st March 2017 at Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, participants adopted the Citizens participatory budget as obtained in ENSG VEC as the best in SE states.  At the just concluded African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) organized Round Table held at Abuja on 12th September 2017 and sponsored by MacArthur Foundation, ENSG VEC was accepted as the best government approach to OGP in Nigeria, based on the 4 Principles of OGP: Citizens Participation, Transparency, Accountability and Use of Technology.
