For the proper institutionalization and sustainability of VEC, His Excellency, the Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on July 1, 2016, created the Directorate of VEC in the Office of the Governor.

ACTIVITIES OF VEC DIRECTORATE

1)VEC Visits.

2)Report Preparation which involves Data collation, entry, confirmation, clean up, analysis and interpretation and production of the Draft Copy.

3)Report Presentation of the Draft Copy to Team members for inputs and to His Excellency for consideration and approval.

4)Report Production, Publication and Distribution as soon as His Excellency approves the Draft.

5)Efficient monitoring/evaluation and feedback on all projects and programs in all the communities of Enugu State.

6)Provision of data and coordination to ensure that all Implementing Agencies work as a team to achieve the new Four Point Agenda of the govt.

7)Utilization of the KDNs etc of the communities to attract National and International Funds to enable government meet more needs of the communities.

8)Regular update of VEC Report for policy cycle, Project  cycle & budget cycle.

9)Any other duties assigned to the Directorate.
